At 20/20 Sight & Style, we take your safety very seriously. In these current times, we are spacing out our appointments to allow fewer people in the Practice at once.

This may mean you will wait a little longer to book an appointment with us, so aside from our on-line booking system, we are happy to book your appointment over the phone, if you have a specific request or need an emergency appointment.

As a Behavioural Optometry Practice we examine many children – but please bring them on their own to the appointment.

Social distancing means we have to limit the number of people in the Practice, so come on your own if you can. If you think this may be difficult, please call in advance to speak with us about your requirements.

Face Masks are available should we need to engage in any testing procedures that come close within your personal space.

Hand Sanitiser is available for all – we ask that you use our station on entry to the Practice. All our staff have also been trained in infection-disease control also.

In addition, we use Zoono cleaning solution in the Practice, which leaves a protective barrier on surfaces for up to 28 days, and on hands for 24 hrs.

This amazing solution works by leaving a molecular layer that bonds to the surface. The molecule ruptures any pathogens (“germs”) that come into contact with it, keeping the surface bacteria & virus free.

We are careful to disinfect all our equipment used in your examination before each new appointment.

We also have shield guards installed on Optical Equipment, as well as our Reception and Dispensing Desks.

When choosing new Eyewear, rest assured any frame you try on has been disinfected in our UV steriliser unit and then replaced on display with gloved hands, so they are in pristine condition when you take them off the shelf.
